Afrocentric/Eclectic

Curated by multidisciplinary artist Rajine Williams (Rajine the Queen Artistry), Afrocentric Eclectic is a bold, collaborative group exhibition that brings together over 20 Black artists from across Minnesota and beyond. Working in a wide variety of mediums — including painting, sculpture, textiles, photography, mixed media, installation, and digital art — each artist contributes to a collective exploration of identity, legacy, resistance, and Black joy.

This exhibition celebrates the eclectic nature of Afrocentric expression. It invites viewers to experience a vibrant range of styles, perspectives, and narratives — all woven together in one expansive, deeply resonant show. Afrocentric Eclectic is not just an exhibition, but a cultural moment rooted in community, creativity, and truth-telling.
